Army Buying Pack Mules PORT WORTH, Texas, June 26— Col. C. A. Wilkerson, Cavalry, U. S. A., officer commanding South Central Remount Area, spent several days in Fort Worth and vicinity recently purchasing pack mules for the Army Remount Corps. Accompanying Colonel Wilkerson on his trip were Col. J. W. Miner, Fort Reno, Okla., and Capt. R. M. Zirkle, from the same point. The pack mules will be sent to Oklahoma from various points in Texas. Colonel Wilkerson will acquire several hundred sturdy animals for use overseas.
