BROOKLANDVILLE. never far from the pace, moved up stoutly when railed upon, wore down MAD BUNNY to take command and held HADA STAR sate to the end. The latter moved up determinedly Hearing the stretch and continued with good energy to the close. MAD BUNNY showed speed from the start, but was unable to go along with the first two during the stretch run. WIRE ME closed some ground, although unable to endanger the leaders. T.1NGENDAAL dropped back to last place in the run to the first turn, was sent to the outride on the back stretch and, while making up some ground, was never a threat and was carried out by SHOW HOUSE all through the stretch. BURGOO TRAIL was unable to keep up. MR. GOOSE tiled. GINGALL was blocked and had to take up through the la-t eighth. NORTH FIRE worked way up steadily in the last quarter and. finishing determinedly under hard urging, was along in the concluding stride to gain a dead heat. IDLE FOOL, steadied along early, disponed of GOLD RIVER for the command and just lasted to hold NORTH FIRE to a dead heat. QUICK DRAW, away alertlv. was taken back Hearing the far turn and closed with good energy from the stretch run. GRAND FORTUNE made up some ground. FIFTH, prominent during the opening five -sixteenths, was unable to keep no thereafter. GOLD RIVER faltered jn the last eighth. BOSTON VICTORY tired. UNITRAN trailed throughout. TILTING, quickest to begin, was taken under slight restraint when DREAM PARADE went out to make the pace, gained a short advantage in the stretch and, under pressure the entire last eighth, drew clear at the end. VICTORY DRIVE, taken back when in close quarters in the opening sixteenth, came in determined fashion during the closing drive. REX went well placed all the way, althouch unable to close any ground through the dosing test. DREAM PARADE showed early speed, but tired in the last thiee sixteenths. AMPLE REWARD, a trailer during the opening quarter, moved up steadily through the back stretch and continued with eood energy to the close. RUSH ACT forced the pace of BRIDI.EOUR and tired during the last three eighths. WOODFORD LAD dropped back soon after straightening out on ,the b.uk stretch and trailed for most of the trip. GONDALINA. unable to reach the leaders early, came with good energy during the stretch run. SHORTENING, a trailer until after rounding from the back stretch, moved up steadily in the last five -sixteenths and was going willingly at the end. SPIRAL PASS was much used in racing ROYAL FLUSH into submission and had little left for the closing test. DENSE PATH was unable to engage the leadeis. ROYAL FLUSH tired attir di-plaving early speed.
