I | t | . j i Big Wyse String at Gansett PAWTUCKET, R. I., April 28.— One of the stronger establishments on hand for the 1944 Narragansett Park spring meeting is that of Fred Wyse, Houston, Texas, sportsman. Wyse, a regular on New England tracks, was credited with developing the late Raymond Hightshoe into one of the better reinsmen ever to don silks here. Ralph Lentini is conditioning the Texas-owned contingent this year and will have War Gleam, Half Smart, Hy-Gay, Templet. Joans Tip, Private Leon, Eros, Difficult and Wise Father for campaigning under the Wyse silks. Lentini is also looking after Peggy Silver, who is to race ben for Cooper Phelps.
