. , Kirks Injuries Not So Serious BALTIMORE, Md., April 28. — Jockey Carson Kirk, who was reported to have suffered nearly every injury in the book when thrown against the fence by the horse, Man o Foot, is now resting well in the Bon Secours Hospital in Baltimore. Kirk, believed to have a broken leg, broken back and various other injuries, has had his injuries diagnosed as a dislocated hip and minor bruises. This was confirmed by Dr. L. J. Volenick, track physician, and Goldie Mitchell, Kirks agent, who had consulted the attending physician at the hospital. Kirk was leading the Pimlico riders at the time of his mishap.
