Trierarch Gives Much Weight in Route Test Must Concede From 17 to 29 Pounds to Seven Opponents STANTON, Del., June 29. Long distance runners will hold the center of the stage here tomorrow with the mile and six-furlong Montchannin Handicap as the principal attraction on the card. Mrs. D. P. Barretts Trierarch, with an assignment of 132 pounds, is decidedly head man of the group of eight scheduled to finish this contest and hell be giving away from 17 to 29 pounds actual weight to his rivals. Blitzkrieg, Cushlamacree, Mercy Angel, Midnight Ride, Gray Hood, Connachta and Overcall form the balance of the field and four of the seven have been winners here, indicating that there will be a struggle before anything is conceded to Trierarch. Meanwhile, racing secretary Edward J. Brennan has made a final check on probable starters for Saturdays mile arid a sixteenth Newcastle Handicap, limited to fillies and mares. Brennan lists a dozen as likely to go in the 0,000 number, and if his estimate proves correct the Newcastle likely will be one of the top stakes of the meeting from the standpoint of an interesting contest. H. Pi Metcalfs Star Copy under 119 pounds, and C. T. Chenerys Anthemion with the same weight share honors in this respect, the topweighted Stefariita having declined the issue. Others Brennan feels will be on hand are Moon Maiden, 114; Everget, 113; Donitas First, 110; Countess Wise, 109; Challe-donna, 108; Gondalina, 107; Bingo Bridget, 106; Johns Dear, 106; Dense Path, 106, and Burgoolette, 103.
