SEVEN HEARTS, under good handling, was restrained while wearing down SONG O WAR, was -roused entering the stretch and finished with something left. PIG TAILS came forward steadily and finished well from the outside. MANY LANDS raced evenly. SOME MAN, steered to the inside for the drive, closed strongly. Won driving; second and third the same. CHERRY CRUSH, hustled into command along the rail and under restraint while setting the pace, had enough left to hold his advantage in the drive. ALUMONT moved to contention after seven-eighths, was forced out somewhat in the drive by BASHFUL DUCK, but could not menace the winner. The latter contributed to pinching off JUNIOR EASTON early, drifted out in the Stretch and carried out ALUMONT. WISHIHADAGAL showed nothing. JUNIOR EASTON, hurried between horses rounding the First turn, was pinched off by the winner and BASHFUL DUCK, had to be eased back and could not again threaten. Overweight Wishihadagal, 2 pounds. LITTLE WIZARD, showing good form, moved to the leaders from the outside when ready and had speed in reserve at the end. LUCIAS SUN, held in reserve early, attempted to go to the pace rounding the far turn, could not keep up with the winner, but was best of the others. BONNIE ANDREW set the pace as far as he could. The latter worked her way forward under good handling, came between horses to assume command momentarily and held on stubbornly. PISTOL PETE was hustled into a quick lead and had no excuses. DAY DODGER was forwardly placed briefly. ANOTHER TIME and SPEEDWAY were through early. Overweight Speedway, 2 pounds. Attendance, 9,608; Total Mutuel Handle, 89,640.
