Bungalese Gallops Home Five Lengths in Front Fox Colorbearer Fourth Choice In Row to Triumph at Havre HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., May 23.— Form players had a banner day here this afternoon when their selections in the first four races came down in front with Mrs. George Fox Bungalese completing the victory skein by galloping home in the six-furlong fourth race. The flashy daughter of Bull Moose — Bungalow ran back to her most recent race, by turning the six furlongs in 1:11%. Backed into .60 favoritism by the good-sized crowd of about 10,000 fans, Bungalese gave her supporters no anxious moments. She was hustled to the fore at once by apprentice Don Padgett, then went about her business to dispose of Helvetian early and breeze home. Five lengths behind her at the finish was a three-horse picture which saw J. Sullis Reason second, H. H. Hechts The Wing third and the weakening Helvetian fourth. The field was dispatched from the six-furlong chute after only a brief delay and Bungalese demonstrated her superiority all the way. The four-year-old filly, unable to graduate from the maiden ranks last year in five starts despite the fact that she raced on the minor tracks last winter, was scoring for the second time in as many races this year.
