Twenty-Eight Horses Arrive At Charles Town by Van CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., May 23.— Shipments totaling 28 horses arrived at Charles Town today by van from Pimlico. Included in the lot were eight for Everitt Brining, six for J. H. Fockler, eight for George Mohr, and six for F. Shenski. Jockey Webb Snyder arrived to join the jockey colony which now consists of 22 riders already on the grounds awaiting the opening of the meeting on May 29. Starter Harold Holland is conducting schooling classes daily at the four and one-half furlongs chute at Charles Town. He is assisted by Guy Owens. Jockey Stanley Austin is busy commuting between Havre De Grace where he is riding and Charles Town where he gallops horses for Everitt Brining and J. K. Fockler.
