Independents Win Election NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., May 23. — The Independent Mutuel Workers Guild received 343 votes to 105 for the International Office Employes Union, local 76, A. F. of L., in an election conducted today by the State Labor Relations Board to determine the bargaining agency for mutuel workers employed by the Narragansett Racing Association. There were 32 votes for no bargaining agency at all. The voting went on from 9:30 to 1:30, at the What Cheer Club, just outside one gate leading to Narragansett Park.
