Neopolitan Captures Great Northern Stakes YORK, England, May 23 Reuters— Miss Priscilla Bullocks Neapolitan, rated a 66 to 1 shot for the Epsom Derby in the latest call-over, surprised this afternoon by capturing the Great Northern Stakes over one and one-half miles. The winner ran a splendid race under the guidance of jockey Harry Wragg and beat White Jacket and Peter Borough, two other Derby candidates, by two lengths and a neck, respectively. Nine started In the race. Neapolitan, by Nearco, won without any undue exertion and his good performance moves him into the Derby picture. Lord Durhams White jacket may not have appreciated the firm going, but otherwise he had no excuse. Peter Borough ran well but could not meet the winners challenge. Neapolitan started at 9 to 2, while White Jacket was the favorite at 3 to 2.
