Fry; bred by Estate of C. C. Keiser. WENT TO POST— 5:55. OFF AT 5:55* CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. AIR BORNE, away fastest, was sent to the front at once, was rated with a clear lead, but had to be roused sharply to hold WAR ATLAS. The latter, a stout contender from the beginning, was placed to stout pressure in the stretch, but was not good enough. DIZZY HEIGHTS, never far back, saved ground on the turn, was taken to the outside for the drive and closed fast. PHANTOM TOWN raced evenly and forwardly in a good effort. GRACE POWERS closed some ground in the late stages. PURE BRIAR was unable to improve his position. GOOD MESSAGE flashed early speed, but quit. CODE MENTOR was never prominent. Scratched— 22631 Montree, 116. War Atlas claimed by A. Angelos. Pure Briar claimed by W. H. Bishop. Attendance, 12,998; Total Mutuel Pool, 15,175. Returned to Public, 09,203, Less Breakage.
