COME EAST was eased out after the start and, in near pursuit of the early pace, moved up fast on the outside rounding the stretch turn, then, under pressure, outfinished LADY APPLE. The latter was close up from the beginning, responded when urged in the stretch run and finished well. WHYSO was sent through on the inside rounding the stretch turn, only to hang at the end. TINTARY had early speed, then quit. VENCI, on the inside, closed well. CHALD0N HEATH was unable to menace the leaders. CREDENDA raced wide. BETHS BOMB began slowly. HI BERT quit badly. SHOW STOPPER began slowly. LUCKY AUNT moved into command after the start, showed speed, bore out sharply on the stretch turn and carried PENE with her, then began to drift in the stretch run. A claim of foul was lodged against the winner for bearing out, which was overruled. PENE was in nearest pursuit of the pace and was forced wide all the way. BLUE PAL was away slowly, saved ground entering the stretch and outfinished SWIMMIN HOLE. The latter was sent up fast after the start, then came to the inside of the leaders, but faltered. CHANCE BULLET jumped well and moved up when urged, saved ground rounding the final turn and finished well, although boy lost stirrup iron. PEDECHE bobbled at several fences while setting the pace and tired, then drifted out at the end. HIGH FATE sulked all the way, but outfinished FOURTH ARM. SHIFTY MAE was a prominent factor from the start, moved up fast on the inside and finished in a dead-heat with DARK VENUS. The latter was hustled into command, drew away into a safe lead, but tired in the final drive. HANDFUL was in close quarters going to the far turn and could not get through. FRANTIES BID showed a good effort. SYLVIA DEAR dropped back after the start. CUISINE had no mishap. MISS DISCO was taken up at the start, sent up fast on the inside, then tired.
