State Derives 65,778 Total From 13-Day Sportsmans Meet HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., May 12.— Maj. Ednyfed Williams, chairman of the Illinois Racing Board, today sent the following report to Gov. Dwight H. Green on revenue derived from the 13-day Sportsmans Park meeting which ended Saturday: "Dear Governor Green: "The first 13 days of racing at Sportsmans Park produced a revenue to the state of Illinois, exclusive of daily license fees and licensing of participants, of 65,778.76, arrived at as follows: "The 2 per cent, 00,617.28. "The 4 per cent, 01,234.56. "The one-half of the breakage, 3,926.92. "The 2 per cent in 1946 amounted to 08,845.44. "The total then to the Bonus Fund is 65,161.48. "Very truly yours, "Ednyfed H.
