SANCHILLA. in the thick of contention from the beginning, rallied mildly under pressure. HALOMER. in close quarters early, recovered and finished well under urging. BECKY MURRAY set the early pace and held on well when displaced, then weakened. YAREBOY improved his position steadily on the outside. JACO BUXEN was bothered while moving into contention. BIG THICKET was unable to keep up. TIME ROLL showed nothing. BOBS HYGRO failed to enter serious contention. CONTRADICTORY had brief early speed. The latter disposed of BEE W BEE after a quarter, drew clear and just failed to last. BEE W BEE held on gamely when displaced. CARMUS improved position steadily, but was not good enough. HONOUR STUDENT loomed as a threat on the final turn, then weakened. MIGUELITO was unable to reach the leaders. SUNSHADE weakened. SOME BID had brief early speed. BUCK C. saved ground while unable to reach the early leaders, rallied mildly to urging and closed gamely. 0. G. KELLEY was forwardly placed on the outside and had no excuse. BEL BEAU opened a clear lead at once, was kept going under light urging, then weakened in the drive. FOXWICK failed to rally when put to pressure. TEXAS STYLE passed tiring horses. CHOW saved ground leaving the backstretch to assume command, drew clear, then weakened in the final sixteenth. WAR GLENN improved position steadily to close gamely, but was not good enough. LEAP YEAR LASS finished gamely under urging. TRIPOS passed tiring horses. CHANCE MORN showed nothing. GOODY GUMDROP was outrun. HIDDEN ACE tired steadily. EDNA LAWLESS showed nothing. ATOMIC POWER, rated back of PROUD RULER the first three-eighths, moved into command nearing the half-mile pole, was roused on the final turn and widened advantage with ease. JOBSTOWN, well up from the start, rallied leaving the backstretch to draw closest to the leader on the turn, then finished gamely under urging. BULL TAR, steadied under stout restraint while trailing early, moved between horses when called upon and closed with good energy. SUN BEAU GO, forwardly placed on the inside, showed a good effort. GRACIE SON was under restraint to the final turn, then rallied mildly under a drive. BELRATE lacked the late drive. DONNAS ACE had no excuse. FLARES DURBAR was outrun. PROUD RULER quit badly. TCHADA, forwardly placed, moved into command when set down, drew clear and was kept going under steady urging. TOWN HILL set the pace under stout restraint, held on gamely when displaced and finished well under pressure. JOES MISTAKE improved position steadily to loom as a threat in the drive, but was bothered slightly by HER REPLY. The latter saved ground and engaged in a bumping match with JOES MISTAKE in the final furlong. DRY BELT closed gamely between horses REST AWHILE passed tiring horses. DOODLE BUG failed to respond to urging. WAR AGENT weakened after a half mile. HUCKLE DE BUCK showed nothing.
