Education and Other Hooper Horses Stabled at Arlington Education, the nations leading money-winning two-year-old of 1946, was in the first shipment of horses to arrive at Arlington Park to point for the rich meeting which opens on June 16. He came in during the past week together with a contingent of 13 other thoroughbreds owned by Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Hooper. In running up earnings of 64,473 last season, Education won six stakes, including the Washington Park Futurity. His major objectives during his campaign at Arlington Park and Washington Park this summer will be the Arlington Classic and the American Derby, each of which will gross in the neighborhood of 00,000. Trainer Ivan Parke has recently put Education back to work after a lay-off throughout the winter. The Hooper shipment also included candidates for the Arlington and Washington Park Futurities. Most highly regarded of these is Teddy Dog, a son of Bull Dog and Mystery Marvel which Hooper acquired from Miss Mildred Woolwine for 6,000 at the Keeneland fall sales.
