Both Attendance, Wagering Records Broken at Beulah COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 1.— Beulah Park officials began formulating plans for their 24-day fall meeting at the Grove City course September 10-October 8, following the conclusion of a record-breaking spring season on Memorial Day. The recent meeting shattered both attendance and wagering records for the Grove City course. Total attendance for the 20 days of racing was 65,87i — a record daily average of 3,294. The Memorial Day crowd vagered 67,-230 on the eight races — another record. Still another record is the total of ,535,-876 wagered in the 20 days. This is a daily average of 26,793. Mondays throng bet 0,302 on the seventh and feature race, the Tom O. Worland Purse, a single-race betting record for the Grove City course. Eldon Coffman won the riding title with 24 winners, and Howard Craig was .second
