Fine Fettle Given Chance To Avenge at Omaha Lowe Racer to Match Strides With Seven Rivals in Sprint AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 1.— Fine Fettle, strapping four-year-old son of Chance Play— Nellie L., who was recently purchased by Robert Lowe from Calumet Farm, will be offered the opportunity of making amends for his rather disappointing first engagement here as he is slated to measure strides with seven other of the more formidable sprinters on the grounds in tomorrows renewal of the six-furlong Ak-Sar-Ben Princess Handicap. Fine Fettle was installed post-time favorite in the first division of the Inaugural Handicap, but lacked early speed and could do no better than finish fourth behind Foxy No Mark, Capt. Patti and Mark the Spot. Equally topweighted in the Princess with 117 pounds are James T. Nissings fleet Silver Fire and Marion H. VanBergs Sir White and they are followed by Fine Fettle, 112; E. D. Slavins Irish Wash, 112; J. E. Bilbreys Blue Agent, 109; H. F. Luers Capt. Patti, 108; Wayne andMelvin Stubbs Nebraska Cash, 106, and Carl Craigs Ted-dysun, 104. Silver Fire raced to an impressive triumph in the second division of the Inaugural Handicap, then came back several days later to finish third to Sir White and Capt. Patti in the His Majestys Council Handicap. Sir White defeated Capt. Patti by the narrowest of margins in the latter event and with the weights in favor of the Luer colorbearer Capt. Pandtti may prove capable of reversing the decision. Capt. Patti also gained added prestige among the local turf enthusiasts when he closed from far back to gain the runner-up honors back of Foxy No Mark in the Inaugural. Irish Wash is always dangerous at the sprint distance and under his modest impost could account for the major portion of the 5,000 purse. Blue Agent racedcred-hujUMygjeaaklawn Park and, since his arrival here has been working cleverly. Nebraska Cash improves with additional racing and may make his presence even better known during the later handicaps on the Ak-Sar-Ben agenda. Teddysun will be making his first start here and little is known of his present form. Seven other well-diversified contests will be presented on the twilight card which is scheduled to get under way at 3:30 p. m. Central Standard Time.
