NO REWARD, in hand while within easy striking distance, assumed command when ready and increased her advantage easily. MASTER SHOWMAN raced well out in the track throughout, closed determinedly in the final stages, but could not menace the winner. LYNS MIRACLE dropped back when unable to reach the front early, made a mild move through the early stretch, then weakened. BEECH HILL rallied from between horses and closed fast near the end. PIC ONE, quit. THE MAID began sluggishly. QUEENS ACE was through early. MISS HURRICANE was stoutly restrained until inside the stretch. Scratched— 00346 Commitment, 109; 00346 Beau Jay, 110. NEW FASHION, under mild pressure while contending for command from the beginning, was hard urged when challenged by SCOTCH SOUR and drew out. SCOTCH SOUR moved forward boldly on the outside to appear dangerous entering the stretch, swerved in and bumped NEW FASHION, then could not be ridden out while lugging in .behind the winner. UNCLE MILTIE saved ground and finished well. SUN WAVE performed evenly. PANADE was forced back sharply from between horses a furlong out from the start and failed to recover. SEABRIGHT raced greenly. SHIFTY PLAY was never far back, swung around the leaders entering the stretch and easily increased his advantage to the end. CHALK improved his position steadily and finished willingly to easily best the others. TAGEL saved ground while showing speed, but was unable to reach the front and weakened. FLYING J. F. set the pace for a half mile under pressure, then drifted wide while tiring in the drive. LUCKY DEVIL was a keen contender under urging, but faltered. SKY PRINCE was hustled along in closest pursuit of the pace, closed determinedly in the final run to dispose of KALLUKI, then held .EXTORTIONIST safe. The latter, an alert factor under good handling, was forced to lose ground on the outside and finished gamely while getting to the winner. MR. BOOTS saved ground in the stretch run to make up distance late. KALLUKI had good speed to maintain a clear lead into the final furlong, then faltered. BOLD CHALLENGE was forced to race on the outside of several horses and never seriously menaced. BELIEVE-IN-ME could not keep up. BEAUTY TREAT tired. BLACK BAY did not extend himself. MINT OMORN was under light pressure to stay with the leaders while on the outside, lost ground swinging into the stretch, but responded determinedly to best the opposition. DONNA BOORSE, under strong restraint while lacking room to improve position behind the first flight, came between horses in the early stretch and finished strongly. DAMSON was under pressure in setting the pace, saved all possible ground and weakened only slightly. BULLOW raced well out in the track- and might have been closer with more energetic urging. FLOOD TOWN faltered. DRY FLY failed to respond whenurged. RELATED, hustled into a clear command at once, set the pace under steady pressure and was ridden out to hold the opposition safe. YARLE, a forward factor under occasional urging, responded near the end to outfinish BROKEN CROWN. The latter was hard ridden throughout, appeared dangerous rounding into the stretch, then hung. WENTWORTH saved ground after a slow beginning. IDA C. could not keep up after an alert start. SICKLE FLIGHT gave a dull effort. DIDAPPER quit. DANGER AHEAD was strongly rated in front, readily responded when shaken up for the final run, opened a long lead and won easily. SAN JUSTO was gradually urged into closer contention from the outside, but failed to menace in the drive. WINDY saved ground to pass horses in the stretch run. POMANDER dropped back steadily until inside the stretch, then came to the extreme outside and lasted over tired horses. PETER B. appeared to dislike the going. NAVAL BASE was away slowly and showed nothing. NAPANGO failed to respond to urging. DARALET faltered suddenly in the final furlong. Scratched— 993742 Dot Beiltro, 110.
