STATIC CHASER, a sharp factor from the break, gained the lead when FIRSTBOURNE gave way, drew clear in command between calls in the closing furlong and won fully extended. BULLY GUSHER nearly went down on the second turn when in close quarters, forced his way between hcrses, bumped reepalcdly with MARKSMAN through the stretch run and closed resolutely.
