To Vote on Draft Extension WASHINGTON, D. C. May 3 UP. — The House Armed Services Committee agreed to vote tomorrow on a proposed two-year extension of the draft law after Defense Secretary Louis Johnson and other military chiefs "fortified" demands for an extension. Chairman Carl Vinson D.-Ga., said the decision was reached after a two-hour closed session during which the committee heard Johnson, General Omar Bradley, chairman of the joint chiefs of staffs, Army Secretary Frank Pace, Jr., members of the joint chiefs and state department counselor George Kennan.
