Won driving; third the same. CHEROKEE V., rated along early, improved position on the outside when called upon, bore in during the closing sixteenth and finished in a dead-heat with INAUGURAL. The latter, probably best, was blocked and hemmed in on the final turn when moving up, was taken sharply to the the rail when clear in the final sixteenth and finished on even terms with CHEROKEE V. MOON BLUE, allowed to drop back early, took command when punished and showed a good effort. DELTOID faltered in the final furlong. INSCR0LL bore in badly in the final stages and was blocked. SKYWAVE quit after showing early speed. VANFLAG was outrun. CURLER bcre out and raced wide. TOWN HALL trailed.
