TRY IKE went to the front at once, made the pace to the final furlong, then faltered and could not hold the winner. CONCRETE held on well in a good effort and had no excuse. CHILDERIC raced prominently throughout, but failed to respond when set down through the stretch. BROWNSTOWN was hustled fast to secure a good position after the start, but tired after showing early speed. PARK PIGEON did not like the sloppy track. DREAM CHAMP raced wide. HILLBROOK MISS went to the front soon after the start, entered the stretch with a clear lead, but was hard ridden during the drive to withstand GABY HAUGH. The latter, never far back and in hand to the final quarter, closed fast under punishment and ■was getting to the winner at the finish. BRIGHT MIDAS drifted out at the first turn, forced MEDIATE wide, then raced far back to the stretch, but closed fast when set down in the drive. J0NAGE could not reach the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. MEDIATE moved up on the inside entering the stretch, then weakened. 0NCEUP0NATIME could not keep up.
