Barb Foot and Lawless Miss Meet Today * LINCOLN DOWNS, Lincoln, R. I., May 3.— The first nine-race program to be offered tomorrow during the current meeting has been arranged by racing secretary Gordon Morrow. The Rhode Island Independence Day Purse is the main attraction, being named in honor of Rhode Islands Independence Day, and will be celebrated locally. Ray Nardinis star, Barb Foot, appears to be a shade the best in here. The bay daughter of Bastinado has two consecutive victories to her credit prior to her defeat here last Thursday. Her latest essay was not one of her peak performances and may be discounted. If she races in her best form this could be sufficient for her to grace the winners circle. Lawless Miss, the Mrs. G. Y. Booker ace, faces new opposition in her encounter tomorrow, and off her excellent showing when she finished second to the Plymouth Stables Dimit a week ago, may be strictly the one to beat in the feature. Reno Upabout, who races for C. Craig, has garnered a share of the purse money, finishing third the last three times. The strapping son of OGrady — Reno Gadabout, raced well up with the pacemakers on all three occasions, only to falter in the stretch drive. He may forget to stop tomorrow.
