Good Mask Third Favorite To Score at Lincoln Downs LINCOLN DOWNS, Lincoln, R. I., May 3. — Jockey F. Sheaf fer rode J. Apostolkos three-year-old colt, Good Mask, to victory this afternoon in the sixth event on the program before 6,600 patrons. The winner was timed in :59% over a fast racing strip. Good Masks margin was one length over C. Craigs River Guard, who in turn finished a length and one-half in front of G. S. Gladneys Gerleon. The latter was a like distance before Muller and Christianos Midnight Queen. The Apostolko colorbearer was sent to the fore at the start, with Sweet Sixteen and River Guard closest to attendance until reaching the first turn, then Sweet Sixteen gave up the chase and Gerleon joined River Guard in pursuing the ultimate winner the remainder of the journey, but the latter pair could never seriously threaten. Good Mask was the third favorite to score at this afternoons session, the two previous favorites were Superex in the third race and Wisecracker in the fifth.
