BLACK MASTER was vigorously roused and rushed to the leaders on the turn, brushed with LADY GLADE while wresting command from the outside of the midstretch, was quickly straightened ant drew clear. LADY GLADE, steadied outside two rivals on the tum, willingly-urew clear entering the stretch and held on well despite slight interference. An objection lodged by the rider on LADY GLADE against BLACK MASTER was not allowed. WHIRL DUST came to the outside in the stretch and closed well. HORSEPOWER was steadied while running up behind the leaders on the stretch turn and lacked a rally when clear. PROPELLANT raced wide. DORA DOLL showed nothing. DONITAS HOST saved ground while improving position on the turn and closed willingly to beat IS FAR. The latter made a quick run into contention while saving ground on the far turn, came out slightly entering the stretch and tired. ROYAL WOLF raced evenly on the outside.
