VIGOR weakened gradually in the final run after being close up from the start. BUSY JANE could not menace with a mild late bid. BAY ILE loomed a threat from the outside into the stretch! then flattened out. SNOW MON gave improved speed when too late. ECHO VALLEY was done early. WAR OF ROSES gained command between calls on the final turn, then weakened" gradually thereafter. DINNER MUSIC closed ground when too late. WIN THE BOUT could not menace with a late bid. CHIFFONARD gave way after losing the lead. PIPE TROUBLE was hard ridden to gain an early forward position, then faltered after three-eighths. Jockey Mundorf claimed a foul against the winner which was disallowed. LSCRIPT had to take out from between horses going to the far turn and could not menace. TWIRLALONG was no threat. Jockey Bass claimed a foul against LSCRIPT which was disallowed. HOTPOINT was setting the pace under light restraint, suddenly shortened stride while going to the far turn, was eased up slightly on the final turn, then was set down again in the stretch.
