MARKS PUZZLE was never too far back and, under pressure, wore down the leader in the midstretch and drew away. RACE ACE, rated while close up, assumed command going into the stretch but was no match for the winner. MY VERY OWN reached command when ready after seven furlongs and then gave way in the stretch run. LITIGATION faltered under pressure. NORBOB gave way after a mire.
