Noelor II. in Decisive Prix Noalilles Victory Epsom Derby on Colts Calendar; Srablemate Tello Also Triumphs Special to Daily Racing Form PARIS, France, May 5. Reuters. — Madame Leon Volterras* Epsom Derby hopeful, Noelor II., captured the 1,676 Prix Noalilles over a distance of 1 3-8~miles at Longchamp today. Wresting the lead in the home straightaway, he moved away easily for a decisive two -length triumph over Fernand Bernards Malefaim with Jacques Foulds New Major a half-length back in third in the 12-horse field. Prince Aly Khans Capitaine Corcoran, who finished fourth a length behind New Major, also is a probable Epsom candidate. Malefaim and New Major are not being pointed for the British classic. Noelor II., by Vatellor out of Manoelc was trained by Francois Mathet who also conditions Bella Paola, winner of Newmarkets 1,000 Guineas and current favorite for the Epsom Oaks. Noelor II. was ridden by Maxime Garcia and paid 25 francs for 10 francs win stake. Another to fly Madame Volterras colors w.as Tello, who won the ,000 Prix de Lesperance at 15 furlongs, which is considered a trial for the Grand Prix de Paris in June. Under Garcias guidance.
