Walcott Signs 5,000 Pact To Box Ten Hoff in Germany CAMDEN. N. J., May 1 UP.— Heavyweight contender Joe Walcott, of Camden, signed today to meet Heln Ten Hoff in a 12-round bout on May 23 at Mannheim, Germany. Walcott was guaranteed 5,000 for the bout and will have the option of taking 42 per cent of the gross gate, less 20 per cent German state tax, if that amounts to more than the 5,000 guarantee. Occupational authorities have given permission for the bout to be staged and have agreed to allow Walcott to take American dollars out of Germany. Todays signing eliminates a proposed bout between Ten Hoff and Pat Comiskey of Paterson, N. J,
