Churchill-Owned Colt Wins KEMPTON PARK, Middlesex, England, May 13 Reuters. — Winston Churchill saw his French-bred colt Colonist U. win the Victor Wild Stakes over one and a half miles here this afternoon. Tremendous applause broke out as soon as it was seen that the colt had the face, won a long way from the winning post. The cheering continued right until Colonist n. had been led into the winning enclosure. The colt, ridden by T, Gosling, started at 5 to 4 and beat the odds-on favorite, Jai Mahal, by three lengths.
