Thomas MeBride. who is one of the principal stockholders In the Florida Fair and Racing Association, reports that great progress has been made towards beautifying the Moncrlef Park course for next winters racing. II. D. Brown, manager of the track, is expected north within a week or ten days. Brown has formulated plans calling for a high-class meeting at the Jacksonville track and Judge Joseph A. Murphy, who will assist In the management of the racing end. announces that many valuable stakes will be offered by the Florida association.
