ADMIRAL SETH raced close up from the start and. after subjecting RUTH C. to severe bumping In the stretch, came on to finish well and outlast BRUNI. The latter set most of the pace, but was tiring fast at the finish. RUTH C. raced wide and might have won but for meeting wih interference in the stretch. CLEAR STAR was close up from the start and lasted to defeat EMMA HOAGLAND in a driving fin-ish. EMMA HOAGLAND raced well and hung on gamely at the end. MASTER ROCK also finished in game fashion. BOLTON swung wide on the final turn and tired badly in the stretch. BEDSKIN, SAYER M., MOVE ON SETH. LASKA, MABGAR1TA AnEARN and PINDAR TEEL, all outer post positions, were left at the post when the barrier on the outer section of the starting machine refused to function. Won easily; second and third driving. FOURTEEN SIXTY drew away from the others after going half the distance and won easily. FRANK LIGHT came gamely in the stretch, but was not good enough to catch the winner. ROCK BOTTOM was going well at the end. QUEEN BESSIE showed early speed, but tired. PLUS ULTRA was practically left at the post. WHIZZLER closed well, but it seemed as if Miller made his move too late. SEA HAWK rushed to the leaders after going a half, only to tire in the final drive. MERRY CHASE tired in the final drive.
