MR. JINKS THE FAVORITE SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LONDON, England, June 3. — Mr. Jinks is now favorite for the Epsom Derby to be run Wednesday. Major McCalmonts colt supplants Lord Astors Cragadour, hitherto the reigning choice for the great race. Mr. Jinks is quoted at 15 to 2, while Cragadour is second choice at 8 to 1. Other odds today : Gay Day, 100 to 8 ; Walter Gay, 100 to 6 ; Le Voleur, Reedsmouth, 25 to 1 ; Trigo, Osiris, Posterity. Ratlin the Reefer and Reflector, 33 to 1 ; Montclair, Horus, Barbizon, Brienz, P. D. Q. and Tom Peartree, 40 to 1 ; En Garde, Bosworth, Cavenbo, Leonard and N. P. B., 50 to 1 : Golden Rain, Robert, Aristotle and The Carthaginian, 66 to 1 ; Empire Builder and Grand Prince, 100 to 1. Two horses were scratched today, Loid Dewars The McNab and Somerset Tatter-sails Engelberg, reducing the probable field to thirty colts.
