RIDERS ESCAPE INJURY TORONTO, Ont, June 3. — Jockeys Romano and Slate, who had the mounts on Pandy and Marie Blanche II., escaped injury when their mounts fell in the third race. Marie Blanche II. went to the front on the far turn and led for the remainder of the distance. The riderless Pandy bolted to the outside rail at the head of the stretch and, crashing through the fence, toppled over. When he scrambled to his feet he dashed through the stables with the purpose, no doubt, of finding his own stable. The horse was well bruised by the mishap.
