DEVONSHIRE PLANS TORONTO, Ont., June 3.— Malcolm Mac-farlan, who will act as racing secretary at Devonshire Park, returned from Windsor yesterday. He spent several days at the Devonshire course and reports everything in readiness for the opening, which is scheduled for Thursday, June 27. Something like 5,000 will be distributed in the seven days of racing there. Several horsemen have arranged to ship to Devonshire following the close of the Long Branch meeting. George Palmer has been engaged to do the starting. Horsemen wishing to race at Devonshire are advised to make application for stalls with Mr. Macfarlan, who will be at Long Branch and Dufferin Park.
