I LATONIA TURF NOTES f — ® NEW YORK, N. Y„ June 3. Four horses, the property of A. P. Canale, are due here from New York and will be taken over by D. T. Morris. The quartet is headed by the good three-year-old High Score. The construction of an approximate odds board in the infield directly opposite the betting pavilion was completed today. Previously such boards have been situated at other parts of the plant and the new board is a big improvement over those formerly employed. T. P. Hayes brought fifteen racers from Lexington. Eleven of them are two-year-olds. R. C. Frakes shipped four from the same point, where he will keep a dozen others in training. The stable of John S. Ward is among those shipped here from Lexington after the close of the meeting at that point. Jockey W. Lauscher is with the Ward establishment Charles F. Price came from Washington Park to assist in carrying out preparations for the racing during the meeting here and will return to Chicago Tuesday night. The stewards issued trainers licenses to H. H. Friends, J. M. Murphy, J. A. Abrams, M. R Booker, H. A. Coakley and A. Stevens and a jockey license to S. Hicks.
