DAY ENLISTS EASTERNERS NEW YORK, N. Y., June 3.— John I. Day came over from Bainbridge Park, in Ohio, in the interest of the Ohio State Derby, the 2,000 prize to be decided over that course June 22. He was practically successful in lis mission, securing the entries of Chicatie, Be-sorra, Dail. Black Diamond, African, Safety Pin, Jean Valjean, Artie Kay, Grey Hawk, Glen Wild, Rockdale, Grey Coat and Healev.
