NA ZDAR began slowly, but came around the leaders at the first turn with great speed and," holding on gamely after saving ground in the stretch, outstayed PARNELL BOY. The latter had to go wide, tout closed a good gap and was going well at the end. HELEN KING raced well up from the start, but tired during the last eighth. MISS LOTTA showed a good performance. CHUNG TU retired after the first quarter and was taken out of it and raced wide after beginning well next to the inner rail. Scratched— 36C04 Ladrone, 113. The latter, close up in the early stages and, coming fast in the last sixteenth, almost •verhauled the leader. TIMOUR began fast, showed speed, but tired in the last sevnty yards.
