POLISH forced the pace throughout and jumped well, but carried ROONEY extremely wide at the stretch turn in the final turn of the field and bore over on "REN ALAN after taking the final jump, forcing the latter back, then drew away at the end. A foul was claimed, but disallowed. CRENAI.AN, restrained off the early pace, come with a rush in the final half mile and finished fast. ROONEY jumped well and showed a good performance all the way. SIR SWEEP stumbled at the tenth jump and Continued on twenty-first page. BELMONT PARK Continued from fifteenth page. Its boy lo6t bis stirrup irons and could not regain tbem to the end. ARCHWAY pecked at the jumps and fenced poorly. REDI.A was pulled np after taking the eighth fence. FORETIME loet his rider at the tenth and ASTRONOMY fell at the sixth fence, respectively. JACK HIGH was rated along under steady restraint, shook off ANNA G. in the first half mile, saved ground thereafter and won with speed in reserve. He was galloped out an extra eighth. FOLKING moved up with speed and ganieness when rounding the far turn and ran a good race. MARINE responded well when called upon and finished well. INDIGO saved ground throughout. SUN HATTER raced evenly and was galloped out a mile and a half. AFRICAN began slowly, was taken to the Aiitside when entering the stretch and closed ateadily. ANNA G. quit badly.
