RACING CONDITIONS IDEAL Weather and Track at Their Best for Bainbridge Park Sport — Arabian Triumphs. CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 4.— Finishing with a rush on the outside in the stretch drive, Arabian carried the colors of Mrs. L. M. Holmes to victory in the Bedford Purse, which attracted the best field at Bainbridge Park this afternoon. Flaherty and Fair Justice divided the minor portions of the purse. Yachtsman set the pace, with Flaherty in close pursuit, until the stretch was reached. An eighth out Flaherty assumed command and Yachtsman began to tire. Under a good ride Arabian challenged in the last sixteenth and. at the end, won by a length going away. Flaherty saved second in a drive from Fair Justice, which raced in third place throughout. It was a thrilling finish. Ideal conditions once more prevailed. The weather could not have been improved upon, the track was at its best and the attendance up to the standard. Although closely pressed by Top Cook in the early stages, Betty Browning eventually proved to be much the best in the initial race and drew away as her rider pleased in the stretch. Coming with a rush next to the inner rail in the final eighth, Le Voyant nosed out Shanty McCarty for second piace in the final strides. Romp showed the way into the stretch, with Sucrose following in the second race. On-dora then challenged. In the final strides Ondora just got up to snatch the verdict. Romp held on courageously and secured second, with Billy K. a creditable third. Taking command at once, Incubite retained a safe lead over the juveniles at all stages of the third race. Sporty outgamed the tiring Thunderstruck for the second honors by a narrow margin. Opening up an early lead. Red Grange was never in serious trouble during the running of the fourth race, although he was tiring at the end. Lorelei made a resolute bid in the stretch and outstayed Blue Agate for second. Moving up fast when entering the stretch in the sixth race, Nondaga scored his second victory of the meeting when he disposed of Johnny Campbell and drew away in the final eighth into a commanding lead.
