NAISHAPUR AT HOMEWOOD HOMEWOOD, 111., June 4.— Chaffee Earls Naishapur was an arrival from St. Louis this morning. He is an intended starter in the American Derby, in which he will make an effort to redeem his poor showing in the Fairmount Derby. Chaffee Earl, owner, and J. B. McKee, trainer of Naishapur, also came from Collins-ville, 111., where the colt turned in a mystifying performance last Saturday in the Fair-mount Derby. "Wouldnt run a lick," said McKee. "He was never better and I was under the impression he would win. I am unable to explain his unsatisfactory showing."
