LAKELAND suffered interference in the first eighth, but raced well up and, finishing gamely, wore down FOXY SETH in the last sixteenth to win drawing away. FOXY SETH began well and came •cross the others when coming into the lower turn and, taking a long lead when racing through the atreteh, tired fast in the last sixteenth. RED SPIDER Was forced to race wide in the stretch, but closed a big gap and finished fast. SHIFT ran a good race and was in close quarters for a good part of the race. WALTER II. held on well when urged hard In the last quarter. OWENA quit fast after going half a mile. COLOR RLIND began slowly, but gained steadily and was going fast at the end. POMEGRANATE, well up all the way, tired and fmH lasted for third place. RELI.INE had to overcome interference and finished with a rush. . ELFKIN suffered interference. HAM and MOLLIE DEAR were shuffled back soon after the start. BIRDWOOD quit after the first quarter.
