FERGUSSON AT THORNCLIFFE TORONTO, Ont., May 19.— W. W. Fergus-son, secretary of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association of Canada, was a visitor. Mr. Fergusson was especially well pleased with the treatment accorded his association by the management. During the seven days racing at Thorncliffe ten races for horses bred in Canada were programed and all of them furnished stirring contests. "The Thoroughbred Breeders Association was formed to encourage the breeding of thoroughbreds in Canada, and if the other associations lend their support, as the management of Thorncliffe has, I am sure we will make rapid strides," said Mr. Fergusson.
