THIRTIETH BASHF0RD MANOR LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 19.— More important racing is offered Churchill Downs patrons in the thirtieth running of the ,000 added Bashford Manor Stakes, topping the brilliant Wednesday program. The Bashford, exclusively for juvenile colts and geldings, will bring out one of the largest fields in recent renewals, and the quality of the starters assures a fast and keenly contested race over the five furlongs. Proteus and Judge Primrose, winter stars and early stakes winners, will carry the top weight of 125 pounds each, while other winners get in under 122 and maidens carry 117 pounds. Prince Hotspur, Liberty Limited, Grand Champion, Prince | Fox, Allenfern, Tellico and Adobe Post are among the twenty entered, and the field is the best in this division.
