HUGH McCALLAN JR. improved his position under urging and finished well. EFJAYBE, a factor from the start, outlasted DUST-AWAY. The latter finished resolutely. GENERAL COURT was done early. WENT TO POST— 3:01. AT POST— 2 minutes. Start good and slow. Won driving ; second and third the same. ROAD AGENT jumped well and. kept forwardly placed throughout, responded when called upon and outlasted ICICLE in the final drive. The latter jumped well under restraint, saved ground on the last turn, but tired in the final few yards. CREE was shuffled back near the sixth fence and, coming to the outside entering the final half mile, finished gamely. VALOROUS showed a good performance throughout. LUCKITE. under restraint early, challenged twice and finished well on the outside of the leaders. The others tired and were eased up. DANCING PRINCESS fell at the first jump. SIGN OFF moved up on the inside near the far turn, but was blocked and could not get up.
