H0MEW00D TRAIN SCHEDULE Illinois Central Announces Time of Departure of Trains for the Washington Park Course. Judge C. W. Hay, general manager of Washington Park, announces that the Illinois Central Railroad will run a special next Sunday morning for the benefit of employes who desire to go to the track on that day. Time of departure from Randolph Street will be 10:15 oclock. Stops will be made at Van Buren, Roosevelt Road, Fifty-third Street, Sixty-third Street, Kensington and Harvey, arriving at the course at 10:48 oclock. This train will return Sunday afternoon at 3 oclock. Every day thereafter, except Sunday, the employes train will leave Randolph Street at 9:30 oclock a. m. Trains for regular patrons will leave, beginning Monday as heretofore, the first at 12:30, then 12:50, 1:10 and 1:30 p. m. Returning special through trains to Van Buren Street will leave Washington Park after the races, with the exception that the first train will leave after the sixth race, making stops at Sixty-third, Fifty-third and Roosevelt Road. The last train will leave the grandstand at 7 p. m., except Saturdays and Decoration Day. On those days the last train will depart at 8 oclock, stopping at Kensington, Harvey, Sixty-third, Fifty-third and Roosevelt Road. On special feature days, such as Monday, May 25, inaugural day; Decoration Day, May 30; Saturday, June 6; Saturday, June 13; Saturday, June 20, American Derby Day; Saturday, June 27, final day, additional trains trains will be operated. The Illinois Central Railroad demonstrated last year that it could provide exceptional facilities and will duplicate this service throughout the coming meeting, judge Hay said. J. V. Lanigan, passenger traffic manager, anticipates greater volume of travel this season, his opinion being based on the in creasing interest in racing.
