HER GRACE ENTRY RECEIVED Her Grace, daughter of Bright Knight and Markiluna, is a supplementary nomination for the Arlington Handicap, one mile and a quarter, for three-year-olds and over, which will be run at Arlington Park this coming July in the course of a meeting of thirty days which will be marked by a purse distribution of 50,000. The Arlington Handicap will gross close to 0,000. and pay its winner upward of 0,000. The nomination of Her Grace was telegraphed Monday by Ral Parr, her owner, from Baltimore. She had been named March 7 for the 0,000 Stars and Stripes and 5,000 Matron Handicap and the 0,000 Arlington Cup. How the Arlington Handicap came to be overlooked when the daughter of Bright Knight was put in the other races has not been explained. This oversight cost Parr 00. She could have got in March 7 for 0. Her Grace, a product of Bernard B. Jones Audley Stud in the Valley of Virginia, the birthplace, also, of Gallant Knight, a son of Bright Knight, and the smartest four-year-old stallion in the country, cost Parr only ,100 as a yearling. She won one race at two in 1929, and seven out of twelve last season.
