PRINCESS CAMELIA. well ridden, saved ground while racing well up under restraint in the first throe-eighth-., responded strongly after going to the outside in the stretch and, wearing down JALIE, increased her advantage in the final strides. JALIE showed good speed from the start, saved much ground after reaching the turn and held on gamely, but was not good enough. USUAL TIME forced the early pace under energetic riding and tired badly in the last three sixteenths. SUSU had no mishaps. GALA FLIGHT, taken back slightlv in the run to the turn, never appeared to get into smooth stride and swerved in the stretch. Won driving; second and third the same. LUCKY CARTER, away fast and close up, finished gamely and outlasted DICK PORTER after the latter headed him in the final sixteenth. DICK PORTER, much the best, was unprepared for the start and away poorly, worked his way up rapidiy in the last half mile and tired after takng the lead ;n the final sixteenth. SCAPEGOAT showed the most spi-ea from the start, drew into a long lead on the turn, but tired badlv in the final eighth. ATLIL showed l fair performance. UNITED ORBY began slowly. ISSAQUENA lost much ground and tired in the stretch. OSLO quit. THE DUKE began slowly, was cut off on the stretch turn and lacked speed when clear in the stretch. EARLY AMERICAN gave wav rapidlv after showing speed for three quarters. DARK DAWN showed earlv speed. LADY FINGERS, rushed in the p.icenuking, tired badly after reaching the final three-sixteenths. FLIMSY began fast, raced wide and also tired under hard urging in the stretch. SUNNY LASSIE began improvinc her position slowly after reaching the last three eighths and closed gamely. SWEEP ALL set a fast pace under vigorous riding and dropped back as if throueh nearing the final eighth, but closed stroncly. CHIEF JOHN had no mishaps. SCOTLANDS GLORY showed early speed.
