EXTEND RIVERSIDE MEETING KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 2.— Wm. P. Kyne announced today that the Riverside Park race meeting would be extended one week, bringing the closing date on Saturday, June 13. This makes thirty-one racing days in all. Inclement weather during the early part of the meeting made it impossible for many fans to attend and now that summer weather is here, Kyne feels that the public should have a chance to see Riverside at its best. At the conclusion of the present meeting, the majority of the better horses here will be shipped to Reno for the meeting opening there under Kynes direction on July 1. Following Reno, Riverside reopens for a fall meeting.
