TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES 4 Word has just been received of the death of Mrs. Anna C. West in her seventy-fifth year. Mrs. West was the mother of Schuyler and James West, both well known to racing. She died in her home at Jamaica, L. I. The funeral service was conducted from the Fairchild funeral parlors, in Jamaica, Saturday forenoon at 9:30 oclock. Fritz Weiner reports the death of the plater Glenno. The latter was turned out at Grays farm near Hialeah and dropped dead yesterday. Warren Wright, who plans to race a large stable of thoroughbreds this summer, is a daily visitor at Tropical Park. Jockey Charles Greenwood, who was seriously injured in a fall at Tropical Park on Saturday last, is pronounced out of danger by the physicians at the Jackson Memorial Hospital, according to the announcement of Charles Koerner, who holds the contract on this riders services.
